Dissertation Title: Analyzing Discursive Practices in Acute Patient Care: An Inquiry into the Rhetoric in Nursing Communication and Education.
This hybrid study in WAC/WID, health communication, and visual communication analyzes the dynamics of terministic screens as message frames that determine message reception in acute patient care and Nursing education.
Research interests: Rhetoric and composition in the health sciences, inter-professional health communication, digital pedagogies, WAC/WID/CxC, science writing and communication, eBook information design, rhetoric of faith, spirituality, and health.
